Yes. Both the newer x.com URLs and legacy twitter.com URLs resolve the same way — paste whichever form you copied and the downloader finds the video.
What about Twitter GIFs?
GIFs on X are stored as short looping MP4 videos, so TwitDown saves them the same way as regular videos — as a small silent MP4 loop that plays anywhere.
Do I need an X account for TwitDown?
