The grid renders a compressed preview sized for scrolling. The pin holds the real file. Both look similar at phone width; zoom in, print or set as wallpaper and the difference is obvious. This tool always works from the pin, never the grid.

How to finish on each device
The file saves to your normal download folder. On iPhone open Files › Downloads and use Share › Save Image to put it in Photos; on Android it usually appears in Gallery automatically.
What counts as a picture pin
A single image on its own pin. Multi-image carousels exist on some formats and each page needs its own resolve, so the tool returns the currently shown image. Text-overlay quote pins are still images and save normally, which is often why people want them.
