On a phone, open the pin, tap the share arrow, then Copy link — you get a pin.it address that works as it is. On a computer, click the pin so it opens on its own page and copy the address bar. Both forms are accepted; board and profile links are not, because they hold many pins rather than one.
HD where the pin was uploaded in HD
Pinterest keeps a handful of renditions per video and this tool lists the ones it can see. If the creator uploaded in HD you can download Pinterest videos in HD. If they uploaded small, no tool can invent detail; the list is honest about it.
Phone, tablet or desktop
There is nothing device-specific to set up. The downloader is one web page: open it in Safari, Chrome, Edge or Firefox and it behaves the same. On iOS the file goes to Files first, so use Share › Save Video to finish in Photos.
Downloading on a weak connection
