The Pinterest app has no download button for video pins, and the desktop site buries nothing in a menu either. This page fills that gap without asking you to install anything: no APK, no Chrome extension, no account. Open it in any browser, paste the link and the file saves to your normal Downloads location.
What quality you actually get
Pinterest stores each video pin at a small ladder of renditions. The result panel lists the sizes our lookup returns and you pick one. Most pins top out at 720p and a few reach 1080p; nothing is upscaled to a fake 4K. What you save is the largest copy Pinterest kept, passed through untouched.

Screen recording captures your phone at its current brightness, with notifications and the status bar baked in, and re-encodes everything twice. The stored MP4 has none of that and arrives at the resolution the creator uploaded. If you only need a clip for a chat, recording is fine; for a clean archive, download the file. It also saves battery and, unlike recording, keeps audio at the source bitrate instead of through the microphone-adjacent mix.
