Download Pinterest Image
A feed thumbnail is a compressed preview; the pin holds a larger file. This tool resolves the public pin and offers the image sizes Pinterest returns so you can download the Pinterest image at full size instead of screenshotting a small tile.

Copy, paste, save
The same three steps on every device. Nothing to install, nothing to sign into.
Copy the pin URL
Open any public Pinterest pin and copy the URL from your browser's address bar, or use Share ▸ Copy link in the app.
Paste and submit
Paste the URL into the field above and check the available media options.
Save to device
Pick your preferred quality and the file downloads straight to your device.
What this tool can and cannot do
The technical detail behind the three steps above, written from direct testing rather than copied from a template.
How we testWhy screenshots are the wrong tool
A screenshot captures your screen: the grid, the UI chrome, your zoom level and the display's colour. The stored image is the sharp, clean original. If you intend to use the picture for anything beyond a glance, take the file rather than a capture.
Choose the largest size offered
The result lists the sizes available for that pin. Pick the biggest: it is the one closest to the upload, and it is the one that survives cropping or printing. Nothing is resized upward on our side.
Photos, illustrations and infographics
Any image pin works, including infographics and reference sheets where the small text only survives at full resolution. Animated pins are handled better by the GIF downloader, which keeps the loop.
When the largest size is still small
Pinterest never keeps more than the uploader provided. A pin saved from another site can already be a re-compressed copy, and a screenshot of a pin is three generations down. Download the largest file offered and stop; converting it upward adds bytes, not detail.
